Invodo Offers HTML5 Support

17 01 2011

The coders of many e-commerce sites have spoken, HTML and Flash are among the most popular operating platforms for current browsers.  Can both survive until the next version of the internet-as-we-know-it arrives?  Or will one of them have to fade into oblivion and obscurity so the other will thrive?  Only time will tell, but while both of them are alive, healthy and kicking, there are many tell-tale signs that point to HTML5 being able to survive until the next round.

They say that imitation is a form of flattery, so if that is the case, HTML5 is in a good position.  Apple developers have created their own version of HTML5.  They call their version, Safari 5.  Whether HTML5 and Safari 5 will be able to run simultaneously or concurrently remains to be seen, but it is a start nonetheless.

Video provider Invodo is offering support for HTML5.  Their video provider also offers support for Flash.  So now you don’t have to choose between the two platforms, as far as Invodo is concerned.  The video player created by Invodo lets users share the videos they create on their mobile devices, whether it was created on an iPad, iPhone or an Android OS.  So your Facebook or Twitter friends can watch the videos you make, courtesy of HTML5 technology.  If you would rather email the video to your friends, that’s possible also with the Invodo suite.

So whether you are a die-hard Flash fanatic or love the HTML5 codes that enable your browser, you don’t have to choose yet.  Right now, they can co-exist peacefully.
